Car Insurance Ford (Car Insurance). what can be wrong with the car?

what can be wrong with the car? so the car is a 2002 Chrysler PT cruiser. about a month ago the car started making weird sound like a squeal. i could also see steering fluid coming out the reservoir cap. the noise would only happen when the steering wheel was moved. when we would turn it to the extreme right or left the noise would stop and the steering would be working properly. so about a week ago the noise got really loud and suddenly the steering wheel got really really stiff. so i was told that the pump when out. so i spent all day yesterday and today replacing the pump. put everything back together and when ahead with bleeding the air out of the power steering fluid. the steering was fine but the noise still remained. so i took it to an autozone and used a vacuum pump to try and suck out all the air in the system. didnt help, the noise remained. so i drove it home and in only 1 turn did the steering get really stiff again but right away when back to normal. at home i tried turning the wheel back and forth trying to get the air out of the system and then all of a sudden it got really stiff again. someone suggested that i put the car on jacks and try to get the air out of the system. while on the jacks the wheels turned very smooth and i could see some air coming out of the reservoir. but as soon as i lowered it back on the ground the steering wheel was still super stiff. any advice or help would be appreciated.

did you flushed ALL the dirty fluid out? take a look at the new fluid is it crystal clear? the air finds its own way out, recheck fluid level hmm this sounds like a be-och if you got a used pump i would say it could still be the pump make sure the pulley on the pump still spins and its not seized up the belt could be the prob but i don't think so look at all of the hose to make sure they're no kinks i'm sure you did all this you seem pretty level headed but my guess would be a hose twisted weird or something like that leave the cap on.. stop looking at the resevoir and dont over fill this reservoir or ull blow this pump out too. the first one sounds like u over filled it... the power steering has a dip stick to check as well dont over fill it... it does matter... and then jack your vehicle up leave engine off and turn wheels lock to lock back and forth 20 times to work the air out of lines... engine needs be shut off... other than that could be something in the steering box or lines... if thats new pump.. hoping u didnt over fill it... i know more about engine building, my best bet is to take it or have a mobile mechanic come to you. sometimes its cheaper. if you got a used pump it could be bad too.

$1000 Dollar Budget for Audio system.? Im helping my friend pick out a good subs/amp combo for his 2001 honda civic because he knows nothing about car audio. He has $1000 to spend and possibly 500 more. He wants 2 12's. I got an estimate for 2 JL 12W3's in a ported box along with a JL 1000 watt 2/1 amp along with all the wiring and hardware for $929.00. Unless he gets the other 500 we cant do that because we also need a nice head unit. I was thinking of either a pair of Kicker L5's or a pair of Alpine type R's either ones in a ported prefabbed box. I plan to budget MAX on 150 - head unit 350 on amp/amps 450 on subs/box 50 - hardware/wires if you have any idea/suggestions please let me know car insurance.

Ford . What's wrong with my scooter. Part II?

What's wrong with my scooter. Part II? The piston was locked up...but I was able to fix it by using an oil additive. That is no longer my problem. The engine is trying to turn over, but it doesn't . The spark plug is in great shape and is sparking. The oil and gas are both making their way to the engine...Granted the person who had the bike before me let gas sit in it for about a year. (but I'm betting that it is still combustible) The battery is fine. Everything I can think of appears to be fine. Any ideas as to what I can try checking? Short of taking apart the carb and cleaning it, which I have no idea how to do...I can't think of anything else that could be wrong. Everything that should be working appears to be working...What's wrong with my scooter. It's a TNG 49 cc car insurance.

Ford . How to Replace a Headlight Bulb in a Mercedes S430

When the headlight bulb in your Mercedes S430 burns out, you need to replace it with an H7 replacement headlight, available at most auto-parts stores. Headlight failure on the S430 happens over time, and there is no specific service life for these bulbs. When replacing your S430's headlight bulb, it's a good idea to replace both headlights. The reason for this is that both headlights will have the same amount of hours on the bulb. When one burns out, the other will likely follow soon.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Replacement headlight

Step by Step :
1
Open the hood and unplug the electrical connector running to the back of the headlight. Squeeze the tabs on the connector and pull them off the headlight.
2
Pull the dust boot off of the back of the headlight with your fingers.
3
Grab the headlight at the base, called the "collar," and rotate the headlight counterclockwise to unlock it from the headlight housing. Then, remove the headlight from the housing.
4
Install the new headlight. Make sure that before you attempt to secure the headlight to the housing by turning the headlight bulb clockwise that you have the tabs on the headlight collar aligned with the notches in the back of the housing, and that the front of the collar sits perfectly flush with the headlight housing. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Ford . How to Replace the Headlight Bulbs on a 2004 VW New Beetle

If you drive the new generation of the Volkswagen Beetle, you probably already know a few key differences between the newer and classic Beetle models. First, the engine is in the front, instead of the rear, as was the case with the classic Beetle. What you may not know is that changing the headlights is a bit different than on most vehicles. The headlights are inaccessible without removing the headlight housing. But, there are no screws or bolts holding the housing to the chassis.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Replacement H1 headlight

Step by Step :
1
Open the hood of your Beetle and look between the first two fender-mounting bolts. Then, look down a few inches from there. There is a small knob, which is the release knob for the headlight-housing assembly.
2
Push the release knob down and then all the way up as far as it will go.
3
Push the headlight housing forward from the back of the housing.
4
Unplug the headlight connector from the back of the headlight.
5
Push down on the plastic tab on the back of the headlight housing and slide the black plastic cover down to reveal the headlight.
6
Remove the spring clip from the back of the headlight by pulling it off with your fingers. The headlight bulb will come out of the back of the headlight housing when you do this.
7
Install the new headlight bulb and replace the spring clip to secure the headlight to the housing. Installation of the removed components is the reverse of removal.

For transmission repairs, take your car to a reputable transmission specialist and ask the technician to diagnose the trouble and give you an estimate of the costs. Do not let the technician take the thing apart. Once your transmission is in pieces, you're a sitting duck. Have the specialist drive the car, listen to it, ask you questions about its history and its symptoms, and give you his or her ideas. The technician may say, "You may just need your bands tightened, or you may need a new transmission; I can't tell until I open it up." Fine. Ask for estimates for both jobs and, if the prognosis is expensive, get additional estimates. You'd see several doctors before choosing one for major surgery, wouldn't you? Here are some guidelines for getting the best deal on major transmission work: * Get three estimates, or more if the first three vary widely. Discard the highest estimates. Discard a very low one, too: If it seems way out of line with the others, it may be a hustle. Then return to the place with the fairest price and/or the best vibes. Of course, an enthusiastic recommendation from someone you know who is fairly knowledgeable about cars is usually worth extra points when you're deciding. But I'd get at least one other estimate anyway. 0 After the work is underway, ask to be notified about what they find when they open it up. Will it be a simple adjustment or a major rebuild? Get the estimated costs on the receipt, signed by you, before the actual work begins, and ask to be called if that estimate changes because they uncover other problems. 0 Ask them to save the parts they replace so that you can see what you paid for. Consumer laws in many states hold the repair facility responsible for failing to provide a written estimate, for failing to notify the customer if the estimate increases radically because more problems have been uncovered, and for failing to turn over parts that have been replaced when you've asked that they be saved. Now go home, cross your fingers, and wait for the operation to be over. Of course, you may still be ripped off, but you'll know that you've done everything possible to prevent it. And because you've been so canny about estimates, open about shopping around, familiar with the transmission itself (read Chapter 9), and insistent about written estimates and such, you just might scare someone who would like to cheat you into doing a good job and charging you properly for it. If this whole thing sounds paranoid, so be it. The fact is that a few bad apples give the honest, hard-working, car-loving, competent transmission specialists a lot of competition. So go ahead and be paranoid — it can't hurt. You haven't done anything to insult the shop; you've just been careful. Chapter 22 has lots of advice about finding a good repair facility and keeping one happy, and it tells you how to get satisfaction on complaints if you get ripped off anyway. .Chapter 17: What to Do If Your Transmission Stops Running Smoothly How to keep from driving your transmission crazy 804 Car Insurance pontiac 2010 248172

Driving your vehicle with expertise can prevent many of the most common causes of transmission failure. This involves getting into the proper gearto reduce the strain on the engine and the transmission, and not riding your clutch. A good driver with a manual transmission learns to watch the tachometer, or just "feel" the car's need for more power or more speed, and shift into the proper gear for each occasion. But many drivers with automatic transmissions just shift into Drive and go up steep hills, carry heavy loads, and bounce into jackrabbit starts, happily oblivious to the fact that even automatic transmissions have gear selectors that provide one or two lower gears for these occasions. An automatic transmission works with gears, too. If you're in low gear, you're transmitting more power to your rear wheels, and your transmission feels the strain. If you attempt to speed in a low gear, you strain the transmission even more. On the other hand, if you attempt to climb hills in high gear, you force the car to make the effort in a gear that lacks the power for the job. The result: more strain. To avoid unnecessary wear and tear and extend the life of your transmission, whether it's manual or automatic, use the following shifting strategies: *** When you need a sudden burst of speed, use passing gear. On vehicles with an automatic transmission, passing gear provides the same kind of increased power that downshifting a manual transmission does. You use passing gear when you're already in high gear and need an extra burst of power to pass a car or enter a freeway. If you've been traveling at less than 50 mph, the sudden flooring of the accelerator makes your car downshift automatically from High to Second, which provides more power by speeding up the engine. When you release the pedal, the car goes back to High. Use Overdrive (or Fifth gear on a manual transmission), if you have it, when you're travelling along steadily at a high speed. With Overdrive or Fifth, you have an extra, higher gear that allows your rear wheels to turn even faster while maintaining the same engine speed. After you're really moving, shifting into Overdrive means that you can move at the same speed while the engine turns more slowly and consumes less fuel. Shift to higher gears as soon as your speed enters their range. (Your owner's manual should tell you the range of speed for each gear.) There's no need to supply extra power when it's not needed. However, if traffic slows and you feel the engine straining (called lugging), downshift to allow the lower gears to provide more power. When the engine is lugging, shift into a lower gear so that it can turn faster and carry you along with less strain. After you get everything moving freely, return to a higher gear. Use lower gears for heavy loads and steep hills. If you come to a steep hill — or if you're carrying four kids, two dogs, and everything you'll need for a month in the country — go for the lower gears instead of trying to haul the whole mess as fast as you can. Then shift back up again to coast down the hill. This way, the power goes toward carrying the load ratherthan toward maintaining speed. Part III: Keeping Your Car in Good Condition, System by System
